Rick Steres' eye for aesthetics and understanding of the needs of the human spirit are reflected in each of his architectural designs. Over the years, Rick realized that building a custom home requires an architects professional supervision during the entire process from concept to completion. He is totally committed to participating in all phases of building, making your dream into a reality. From the initial consultation, where you share your vision for your dream home, until the day you move in, Rick Steres is on the job and on task. His services go beyond producing outstanding architectural blueprints and renderings. His expertise includes insuring that your plans breeze through the permit process without a hitch. In addition, he will recommend and interview building contractors to make sure that the building you envisioned is constructed without compromise.
During the construction phase, Rick's contract includes site inspections and consultations to discuss any proposed changes or deviations from the original architect design plans. Experience has taught Rick that there are many pitfalls along the way that most property owners aren't aware of. His commitment is to be there for his clients throughout the entire residential construction, to guarantee the integrity of the home he has contracted to produce.
Rick Steres is a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, 1978 with a B.S. of Architecture. He was licensed by the State of California in 1985 and is certified by NCARB (National Council of Architectural Review Boards). He established his own firm in 1988. Rick's designs have twice received the Heritage House Award for his sensitive remodels of historic homes in Pacific Grove. Rick specializes in designing residential architecture for Monterey County, particularly in Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove and Carmel, California.
